About This Course
In this course we will train you in the operation of the electrocardiograph and you will master the general knowledge of cardiology technique.
This course enables participants to perform electrocardiograms on outpatients in both public and private institutions, such as electrocardiography offices in hospitals, sanatoriums and clinics, medical centers of labor unions, and occupational medicine centers. The course will provide you with the technical knowledge required to correctly perform an electrocardiogram in both adults and children.
Learning Objectives
Basic notions of the anatomy and physiology of the cardiovascular system and the heart's conduction system.
You will learn the components and operation of an electrocardiograph and the different models.
You will learn to recognize the different types of electrodes and leads, as well as the electrode placement sites on the body surface.
You will learn the characteristics of electrocardiogram paper and the components of the electrocardiographic tracing.
Material Includes
- Certificate of Completion upon finishing the course.
- Official Certificate issued by the corresponding authorized entities. It will incur an additional issuance fee and will require completing a final evaluation that validates the knowledge acquired.
