About This Course
The Therapeutic Companion plays an important role as part of a therapeutic team in various situations, such as addiction treatment, eating disorders, disability, palliative care, school support, and psychosis, among others. Their work involves providing support and containment to individuals, facilitating their integration into society and helping them develop the skills necessary for a healthy life.
In each context, the Therapeutic Companion collaborates with health professionals to promote well-being, autonomy, and improvement in the quality of life of individuals in different therapeutic situations.
Learning Objectives
Provide comprehensive patient-centered care.
Stimulate mental and physical abilities.
Integrate into activities of the family, social, and peer group.
Develop Health Promotion strategies.
Provide therapeutic accompaniment in homes, psychiatric clinics, and general hospitals, both privately and also being registered with Health Insurance Funds.
Provide accompaniment to patients in the school setting, acting as a liaison between teachers and classmates.
Work as an assistant in day centers and addiction rehabilitation centers.
Material Includes
- Certificate of Completion upon finishing the course.
- Official Certificate issued by the corresponding authorized entities. It will incur an additional issuance fee and will require completing a final evaluation that validates the knowledge acquired.
