Description

This document is intended to serve as a guide to introduce combat techniques at a basic level, as well as serve as a reference in basic combat training for instructors.
This document is a fragment of a book pending publication until today, but I hope it will be published soon. The dissemination of this publication is free, with the condition that it cannot be expanded, altered or modified in any of its sections, and that it must only be used by members of the Spanish Armed Forces or allied countries. The contents of this text are part of the combat system “Personal Defense
Military". Military Personal Defense is a professional combat system, made up of military personnel, but recognized by the Higher Sports Council, through the Spanish Wrestling Federation.
The main objective of this discipline is to provide FAS members with adequate training to resolve combat situations below the level of firearms.

The advantages of federative recognition are evident, in terms of the participation of personnel in seminars, courses and interdisciplinary conventions, where a level completely comparable to the levels recognized outside the FAS environment can be demonstrated.
The general areas included in Military Personal Defense are: self-protection, police intervention and operational hand-to-hand combat, each of them with a different legal treatment and, logically, a different response to the threats posed. This combat system is flexible and open, adapting techniques developed in other environments, both professional and sports, to optimize the military's capabilities.
both in the area of self-protection and in the fulfillment of its missions, especially military police, prisoner control, security and defense of facilities and people, peacekeeping missions and combat actions.
I appreciate that people interested in this publication, as well as others who are
pending to be published through the editorial, let me know, as well as any ideas
that can contribute to improving this document.
