Course presentation
Welcome to the First Aid Course!

First Aid plays a fundamental role in emergency situations. It consists of a series of actions and techniques that can be applied both to oneself and to others in critical moments. Its main objective is to stabilize the injured person, relieve pain, and provide reassurance in times of distress.

In recent years, training in First Aid has increased significantly, which has contributed to a reduction in morbidity and mortality from accidents. More and more people are preparing to act appropriately in emergency situations, which makes a difference in the initial response and treatment of a victim.

Learning First Aid is of vital importance, since in our daily lives we face various situations in which knowledge of these techniques can mean the difference between saving a life or worsening an injury. That is why we have created this distance First Aid Course, designed to provide the knowledge and skills necessary for specific situations.

In this course, we will cover a wide range of topics, such as fainting, syncope, seizures, hemorrhages, wounds, bites and insect stings, initial care in childbirth, poisonings, injuries to bones and joints, choking, and the technique of Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR). In addition, emphasis will be placed on the importance of having a well-equipped First Aid kit and the essential items it must contain.
